The Christian Science Reading Room in Summit hosts non-denominational discussions about articles in The Christian Science Monitor (CSM), a seven-time Pulitzer Prize–winning international news source published since 1908. Mary Baker Eddy described its object as “To injure no man, but to bless all mankind.”
In Washington, D.C. the Monitor holds a weekly Monitor Breakfast, now in its 55th year, where reporters interview government officials and public figures. Just to say, the Monitor is a respected publication … that we enjoy sharing.
Next week, join a discussion at the Reading Room in Summit on March 15 at noon! The focus will be on an article themed on Resilience.
The title is “Growing winter food – and community spirit – in a geothermal greenhouse”, by Ariana Bennett in the February 20, 2023 print issue.
