Welcome to Christian Science in Summit, NJ!

We are First Church of Christ, Scientist in Summit, New Jersey. We are part of a global Church family community spanning 75 countries. We follow the inspiring, practical, healing, and transforming Christianity which Jesus taught.

This includes embracing the world, each other — and you.

Our activities include Sunday church services, Wednesday Testimony Meetings, Sunday School, and our Reading Room — a bookstore and study oasis. We invite you to participate in all of these healing activities of our church. You are welcome!

We have relocated! The Christian Science Reading Room in Summit is now situated in the Church building at 292 Springfield Ave. Come in on Sunday or Wednesday to talk with us about all of the items offered by the Christian Science Publishing Society. Our research/study area is open downstairs.

We are open for Sunday School! If you or someone you know is under the age of 20 and would like to attend Sunday School, please join us every Sunday Morning at the same time as our church service — 10:30 am. Classes are available for children, teens and young adults up to the age of 20. We also provide child care for little ones. Come join in!
